Our Tailored Monitoring System

Our lone worker alarm system is a cutting-edge solution comprising a range of carefully integrated components. Each lone worker is equipped with a robust radio alarm transmitter, which integrates a prominent red emergency button. This allows them to instantly summon help in an emergency by pressing the button, transmitting a radio alarm signal to the designated monitoring receiver.

The system features a smart motion detector that automatically activates in the absence of movement from the lone worker. This is particularly valuable in situations where a lone worker might become incapacitated due to illness or injury.

Upon removal from its charger, the monitoring commences, and the transmitter continuously monitors for movement. If it detects a prolonged period of inactivity, it triggers an alert bleep that sounds for up to 15 seconds. If the lone worker fails to acknowledge this alert by tapping the unit or activating the pause function, a radio alarm transmission is immediately dispatched, while the designated location sounder is activated.

We acknowledge that some jobs involve periods of extended static activity, such as computer-based work. To address this, we have incorporated a pause function. This intelligent feature allows the worker to temporarily disable the motion detector for a pre-set time, preventing unnecessary interruptions.

The pause function can be manually cancelled or will automatically reactivate when increased activity is detected or when the pre-set pause period has elapsed. To cater to specific requirements, we offer other variations incorporating tilt sensors and motion detectors.

Ensuring Reliable Operation

The radio alarm transmitters are readily recharged within dedicated drop-in fast chargers. This charge process disables the motion detector and fully recharges the NiMH battery in under 2.5 hours, switching to a trickle charge to maintain optimal battery health. The system also incorporates automatic fault monitoring, allowing for regular test calls that include the transmitter's battery status. Any low battery or missed test call faults are clearly displayed on the monitoring receiver, ensuring prompt identification and resolution of potential issues.
